Drywalling was to start today so we went out after our anniversary dinner to see the progress. We arrived at "the land" at 8pm and stayed 'til 9pm...

Quite a change!

Front of house (East side).
Siding is done on second floor dormers; framework for front verandah is in place.

Truck is full of 'used' gyproc (see another picture below).

Drywalling...
Drywalling was to start today and be done tomorrow (2 days).
When we arrived at 8pm, there were three people still working on the drywalling and it was virtually complete! Boy, did they know their job.

This is a view of the living room (standing in the kitchen).

Boy, could they measure, cut, move, and attach the drywall fast - unbelievable.

Finishing up the stairwell.
Three workers and three inspectors taking a sneak peek!

Left over drywall was being tossed from Robert's window on the second floor into this truck.
Name of truck is "David Bullman" (our general contractor).

Hydro meter.
There is no longer an electrical cable running from the neighbour's house - we are "independent".
