Front (West side) of house.
More siding; well started (at right).

South side.
Many packages of insulation arrived this morning.
Hard to see, but there are two taps at the bottom right side of the house (one hot and one cold) - these were installed this morning). A hose is attached - from the neighbour's house some 400 feet away - to test for leaks in the plumbing.

Well has begun (by Friesen Drilling) at the North side of the house.
The left truck is digging a "test" hole to determine where water might be found (they ended up at about 146 feet); the right truck is full of supplies, and water that is running to a trough under the drilling rig.

Drilling rig.

Drilling rig as viewed from Robert's window (second floor)
Looking north.

Samples of what was coming up the drill rig were being checked constantly.
This shows the "sand" that was found at about 125 feet - very fine. They were hoping for courser sand..

A "sand filter", to be attached at the bottom of the well pipe.
This is required due to the very, very sandy conditions (two 5 foot sections were used to extract as much water as possible from the sand).

The test hole is completed.
Supplies are being prepared for the placement of the piping down a 5" wide hole.
