Septic line is in. Taping of drywall is now being sanded (to start painting
on Monday).
Sanding the drywall putty.
Kitchen/dining.
Living room / stairs to second floor.
Office.
Bobcat (backhoe) used to do part of trenching of septic.
Trenching of line from well to house (north side of
house). Waiting to be graded.
Start of septic line that runs 500 feet to the back (7
feet below ground) to just beyond the far trees. Four holes were dug and the line was bored from hole to hole: one at
house (shown), one half-way to back trees, one just on this side of the back
trees, and the last hole just on the other side of the back trees.
The
septic holding tank (to be placed on Monday) will be just in front of the
foremost tree.
A look from the west (back) of the property towards the
house. The second septic hole is the dark dirt in the middle of the picture.
The third hole dug for the septic line (just inside the
west trees).
The ejector part of the septic line (just outside the
west trees - perhaps 25 to 30 feet).
This is at the southwest corner of the tree-line around
the front part of the acreage. We had been able to walk through here before this - with a bit of
difficulty.
The backhoe used this route to get beyond the tree line. By doing so he
widened the route very nicely. This will prove very useful in the future for
moving much-needed grading soil from the "back" to the "front".
This is just inside the southwest corner. This grass has not yet been cut this year - and only once or twice last
year. That is Robert 'hiding'. The path is what was made by the backhoe.
The 'front' garden - more weeding; peas are as tall as
Robert.
Back garden - more weeding is needed! Stakes put in for
peas.
Potatoe garden.
Robert and the first crop of carrots (during thinning
process).
