Since 1978, most of the work done by Adminware Corporation is customized database development.
Until the fall of 1999 this work was done in dBase III Plus using Clipper. Since January of 2000, our preferred choice of database development has been with Microsoft Access.
To date, dozens of large customized database projects have been converted to Access with others nearing completion and several others in the design phase.
Our projects fall primarily into two categories:
The Access projects that we have developed use the various features of Microsoft Access 2000/2002/2003, 2007/2010, and 2013/2016. They do not use the MSDE or SQL Server features - we have not yet found a need with our existing clients to use these. The program code is maintained in a 'front end' and all user-driven data is kept in a 'back end', typically on a Windows server.Visit the Microsoft Access home page.
