US 32c Flag Over Porch -
Red 1996

(page updated: Sep 1/99)

The Red 1996 year date stamps are all self-adhesive. They come either in booklet or coil form. With that said, they can offer the most challenge of all of the Flag over Porch stamps.

Step 3separate the Red 1996 stamps into two piles: booklet versus coil.

Step 4separate the booklet stamp into those that begin with a Valley at the upper left and those that begin with a Peak at the upper left. For each of these, there are 4 possible positions: s/e left, s/e right, s/e left and bottom, s/e right and bottom. The scott number for any position from the booklet is 2921.

The coil was printed in rolls of 100. Separate the coil stamps into perf 10 or perf 11.

The scott number for the perf 10 coil is 2915A. The 10/10 coil stamps can be further subdivided into P/V and V/P as well as clean-cut or with horizontal micro cuts. Click for PNC list.
